Lucky Beggar Purse
SOLD OUT!! SORRY!
This peculiar
looking purse started off as an exhibit in a New York art gallery,
although its origins reach back to the street.
Artist George Skelcher got the idea to make this leather purse from
seeing people using the typical New York Coffee Cup to panhandle
on the Bowery (an area in New York known for its flophouses).
Part of the proceeds of each purse sold is donated to HELP USA,
an organization that has helped the homeless since 1986.
If you wish to do more, you can call HELP USA at 1.800.311.7999.
